SCOPE

The International Summer School: "Photothermal instrumental techniques" is organized within the framework of the 18th International Conference on Photoacoustic and Photothermal Phenomena (18 ICPPP), offered by the Graduate School of the University of Nova Gorica, Slovenia in collaboration with the University of Novi Sad and University of Belgrade - Institute of Physics Belgrade, Zemun, Serbia.

The International School is intended for students at graduate level, who have research and future professional interests in photothermal instrumental techniques and related issues. Participants will have the opportunity to intensively interact with an international team of experts in the field of photothermal and photoacoustic science, and to present and discuss their study and research interests. We have invited top scientists and lecturers from universities all over the world, who will offer lectures in the areas of photoacoustic and photothermal techniques and instrumentation. The International School will be organized as a series of intensive lectures and case study presentations with compulsory attendance to plenary lectures and presentation of participants’ own papers at the 18 ICPPP.

Participants will earn 10 ECTS credits for completion of the International School, after their final evaluation.
